The Arrival and Family of RAMBO

This is a narration of a true story based on our experience with a dog which was treated with Stem cell therapy for a critical spinal cord injury due to an accident and the impact of the incident and its treatment on its beloved owners. We hope the owners of Rambo would forgive us for calling Rambo a mere Dog because it isn’t so for them. After the stem cell treatment, being able to walk around, run and jump, Rambo has become a Hero not only to the family but also to the clinicians of TANUVAS who treated it, the entire team of scientists at NCRM, who processed and expanded its stem cells and the entire world, because Rambo is the FIRST in the world to our knowledge of having undergone this hybrid and advanced treatment with a miraculous outcome.

The story of Rambo starts on a sunny day when Rambo was brought to the house of Mr. Kandasamy as a one and a half month old puppy. The incident which made the owners bring Rambo to their house is yet another interesting one. It so happened that Mr. Kandasamy, his wife Suguna and five daughters namely Ms.Satya, Ms.Joti, Ms.Uma Ms.Anu and Ms.Siriis -is a family of Dog lovers, not mere love per se but it goes beyond.

The family owns two houses and in one of the houses is a home for nearly 25 homeless dogs and puppies. Even the email id of the family members are in the name of the dogs they had owned previously. Now to the reason of why Rambo was bought, the family had a boxer earlier which too was called Rambo. That dog lived with them for eight years and died of cancer. Being a family of Dog lovers the five daughters could not bear the anguish and sorrow of the loss of their beloved Rambo. So they kept on pestering their mother who refused to buy another dog because she did not want her daughters to feel again in case something happens to the new dog.

But somehow the daughters persuaded their reluctant mother and they bought this puppy which was a boxer too and christened him Rambo in the memory of their late Rambo.
